GP / No Panic helpline

Advice:

For recurring panic attacks, please submit an online medical consultation request for the GP Clinical Team giving us as much information about your problem as you can. We will respond usually with an offer of an appointment with a GP or other suitable clinician to assess your problem further.

If you feel you need urgent help for panic attacks that are not settling on the day, please submit an online medical consultation request for the Urgent Medical Problem Team giving us as much information about your problem as you can. You will get a same-day response usually by telephone or a time to attend the surgery for further assessment and examination.

Alternatively, visit the No Panic website for advice and help.

You can call The No Panic Helpline on 0300 772 9844 for advice and support about panic attacks. This is staffed by volunteers every day between 10 am and 10 pm. A crisis message to help relieve a panic attack and help with your breathing plays during the night.

The No Panic Youth Helpline is available on 0330 606 1174. If you are aged under 18 years old and need help with anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder or any other anxiety-related problem then this helpline is for you.

If you cannot use the online service please call us on 0345 337 1120 and a member of the care navigation team will help you.
